Super Lawyers has once again recognized Los Angeles real estate litigation attorney Laine Wagenseller as a “Super Lawyer” for 2019. According to Super Lawyers, this peer designation is awarded only to a select number of accomplished attorneys in each state. The Super Lawyers selection process takes into account peer recognition, professional achievement in legal practice, and other cogent factors. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. These factors include trial verdicts, settlements, clients, experience, honors and awards, scholarly lectures and writings, education and employment background and other outstanding achievements.
The objective of the Super Lawyers ranking is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel. Since Super Lawyers is intended to be used as an aid in selecting a lawyer, they limit the lawyer ratings to those who can be hired and retained by the public. According to Super Lawyers, only 5% of attorneys in a given area will qualify for the Super Lawyers designation.
