Real Estate Law from A to Z In California
Laine T. Wagenseller spoke to an audience of attorneys, real estate professionals, developers, and business executives as a panelist on Lorman Education Services’ Real Estate Law From A to Z in California program, taking place May 22 in Costa Mesa, CA. The one-day seminar provided an overview of the concepts of real estate, covering such broad construction issues as zoning, entitlement, and real property tax matters.
Mr. Wagenseller’s presentation revolved around the ideal strategy when structuring a real estate transaction, and included a discussion of a “transaction gone bad,” when such remedies as specific performace and quiet title may come into play. Other presenters at the seminar included Peter F. Lindborg from construction law firm Lindborg and Drill LLP and Valerie L. Sacks, founder of Sacks Real Estate Consulting.
